I have a gentle question: for boilers, steel pipes with specifications φ32×3 and grade 20 are used, with an operating temperature of 154°C. I would like to know which standard is more stringent – GB8163 or GB3087. Table 2-2 in the Boiler Safety Technology Inspection Regulations states that for grade 20 steel under GB8163, the operating pressure should be ≤1.6 MPa and the operating temperature ≤350°C; whereas for grade 20 steel under GB3087, the operating pressure should be ≤5.3 MPa and the operating temperature ≤460°C. Some people say that based on this, grade 20 steel under GB3087 has higher strength. Is that correct?

The new draft standard GB/T16507 \"Water-tube boilers\" has unified the stresses for these two types of pipes.
The supply status varies depending on the fixed length and the inspection items.
Why is it that in GB150.2, only 8163 is listed and not 3087?
3087 is used for boilers, and 8163 is used for containers; there’s no reason for this – it’s a standard requirement
