Recently, Jingmen Hongtu Special Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of CIMC Enrico (referred to as “Jingmen Hongtu”), has entered into a partnership with Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Donghua Engineering”) to work together on the hydrogen production phase of the Deep Energy Otogon Integrated Wind and Solar Hydrogen Production for Green Ammonia project. CIMC Enrico plans to supply 14 hydrogen balloon tanks, 1 nitrogen balloon tank, and 4 liquid ammonia balloon tanks for this project, with the total value approaching 50 million RMB. Located in Etoke Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, this project is the first hydrogen production and green ammonia synthesis demonstration project to commence construction in Ordos City, with Donghua Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. acting as the general contractor. The total investment for this project is 3.8 billion yuan. It involves the construction of a 500MW wind farm, along with a 220kV step-up substation, a hydrogen production facility capable of producing 48,000 Nm³/h of hydrogen, resulting in an annual hydrogen output of around 20,000 tons, and an ammonia production plant with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons. While ensuring the efficient transmission of clean energy, the project provides sufficient \"green raw materials\" for the production of green ammonia, thereby integrating deeply into the development of the local green energy industry chain. In 2024, CIMC Enrico won bids for and participated in several hydrogen energy projects, including those carried out in collaboration with Hong Kong China Gas, the Sinoenergy Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project, and the green hydrogen and green ammonia project in Oman. In February 2025, it also entered into a partnership with Saudi Basic Industries Corporation, the leading chemical company in Saudi Arabia. The company currently has several large-scale engineering projects under implementation, which fully demonstrates CIMC Enric’s leadership in the field of hydrogen storage engineering.
