For the activated carbon filters you have used, apart from removing the activated carbon through the access hole at the bottom on the side, are there any other ways to remove it?
It depends on how many mounting holes the filter has... But generally, it is removed through the access hole on the bottom side.
I want to unload from above or below; I don’t want to do it from the side, as that requires manual digging, which is inefficient and also rather dirty work
It can be designed such that the cylinder uses a device flange connection structure to enable loading and unloading from above and below.
This is really annoying; once the mesh at the bottom gets damaged, it’s over. . We are preparing to replace the flange. .
Typical filters have filter screens on both the upper and lower parts, mainly to prevent activated carbon from entering subsequent pipes and causing blockages; therefore, unloading from the lower side is the most appropriate method. Otherwise, you will have to remove the filter at the bottom before you can unload the material, and the pipes at the bottom are much smaller than the manholes – it’s time-consuming and laborious, right?
Generally, drainage is carried out through the manhole at the bottom of the equipment side; if it is designed as an equipment flange, the cost will be too high
