There was an exam in the workshop today, and one of the questions was marked as wrong, but I think it should be correct. I don’t know what’s wrong with this question. As stated in the question: The lubricating function of lubricant is to reduce the friction between two metal surfaces that are in relative motion. Everyone, take a look and see if it’s correct

Lubrication serves to reduce wear on two contacting or non-contacting surfaces. This seems more plausible; what is being reduced in this context is presumably the friction coefficient of the surfaces in relative motion, right? After looking at this question, I feel I need to go back and study the Kangxi Dictionary again
