The welded joint in the attached picture is not fully welded. See Figure D3 on page 292 of GB/T150.

Conduct detection inspections according to strength requirements. 2. The diagonal lines drawn in the figure represent the two bodies to be welded, and the grid represents the molten part of the welding (the molten pool part). "Welding penetration" means that the molten part inside and outside is higher than the body, but there are relevant requirements.
There is no doubt\(◎o◎)/! What is marked on the drawing is incomplete welding. In fact, this kind of pairing depends on the welding process and the welding current is large enough, so it is difficult to have such theoretical lack of penetration.
There is a difference between penetration and relative penetration
There is a gap in this diagram itself. The penetration welding pattern should show that the entire space between the nozzle and the shell is welded meat.
