How to design a tubular reactor?

I am working on a graduation project related to tubular reactors for furfural production; I am not familiar with this type of reactor. I would appreciate it if you could recommend some materials for study – the more detailed, the better. Thank you
I’m not sure what type of tubular reactor you have? Is it for industrial use, or a small tubular reactor for the laboratory? If it refers to industrial tubular reactors, one can refer to typical design and calculation examples for ammonia synthesis towers; such materials should be available in the library. A tubular reactor is essentially a fixed-tube-sheet heat exchanger, with catalysts usually filled inside the tube side. The standards GB150-2011 and GB151-2014 should be applied in such cases. If process calculations related to the reaction are also required, then the principles of reaction engineering can be consulted as a reference~
