For pressure vessels containing explosive (Group 1) media, the following mandatory requirements apply: 01 When the design pressure is greater than or equal to 0.15 MPa, cast iron shall not be used for the pressure-bearing components. 02 When the design pressure is greater than or equal to 0.4 MPa, cast steel shall not be used for pressure-bearing components. 03 The weld joints between the flange and the shell, as well as those of the jacketed vessel, shall adopt a fully penetrated structure. 04 When it is necessary to enter the container for regular inspections, replacement, neutralization, disinfection, cleaning, and sampling for analysis must be carried out. It is strictly prohibited to use air for replacement. The analysis results must meet the relevant standards and specifications, and the interval between sampling analyses should comply with the relevant regulations set by the user entity. 05 During regular inspections, if the material is unknown, its identity must be determined. 06 The outlet of the safety valve or rupture disc should be equipped with a conduit to direct the discharged medium to a safe location where it can be properly disposed of. 07 To facilitate the cleaning and replacement of safety valves, a stop valve may be installed between the overpressure relief device and the pressure vessel only with the approval of the person in charge of safety management at the using unit, and after reliable preventive measures have been put in place; the structure and diameter of the stop valve must not interfere with the safe operation of the overpressure relief device. 08 The level gauge is equipped with a protection device to prevent leaks.
