Design a DN600 vertical vessel with a barrel length of 1500mm. A manhole is set for the vertical vessel according to HG/T 21521-2014 Vertical Lid with Neck Butt Welding Flange Manhole. The manhole size is DN450. However, when SW6 performs opening reinforcement calculations, it is found that SW6 cannot calculate the opening of the container. Help here: Is it because the container is not large enough that no manhole is needed?
There is no corrosion and no manhole is required when internal inspection is not required.
Is there no corrosion when the medium is nitrogen? Are there any standards that explain this aspect?
This is a requirement. Generally speaking, there are internal inspection requirements, polishing requirements, and internal parts installation requirements. Hand holes or manholes are required. For diameters of 600, either hand holes are opened, or flange connections are designed to be large openings.

Four reasons why the software cannot calculate have been given. Just because software can't calculate it doesn't mean it's not needed. They have nothing to do with each other. It needs to be judged based on other conditions. If necessary, it can be designed as an open type and add equipment flanges.
