Except for the last one, do drawings and manufacturers need to indicate the UT testing requirements for steel plates according to the requirements of Table 3 when ordering steel plates? Or will the steel mill itself conduct UT testing according to the requirements in Table 3, without the manufacturer requiring additional relevant requirements?
It's best to mention it to avoid causing disputes. Steel mills generally follow the minimum requirements of the standards. If you don't mention it, it will be difficult to find the manufacturer if quality problems occur, and it will be unclear. You can also check GB/T713-2014 or GB/T24511-2017 to take a look.
In the past, I only paid attention to the last item when making drawings. If I encounter it, I will note it on the drawing. The UT requirement is added to the material thickness of the front process lifting plate that is more than 40%. I feel very confused. After carefully looking at the standards, it should be done. GB713 also only states that according to the requirements of the purchaser, if necessary, it should be noted in the contract. It seems that we need to pay attention to it in the future.
This is a requirement of GBT150, not a requirement of steel plate standards such as GBT713. It must be mentioned when ordering.
