The price of custom-made equipment is calculated as the weight of the material multiplied by the price of that material, plus the processing cost. For ordinary containers, the total price is double the cost of the materials

Processing fee: For ordinary carbon steel, it is 1200–1500 yuan per ton; for alloy steel and stainless steel, the fee ranges from 3000–5000 yuan per ton, depending on the material ; Cost of accessories: Purchased items such as valves, pipe fittings, and manholes can be estimated at 2,000 yuan per ton. Profit margin: 6–8%. For equipment that relies on proprietary technology, an additional significant fee for that technology is required.

There is an oversupply of domestic pressure vessel equipment manufacturers, leading to fierce competition; prices are generally very low, and the average industry profit margin is below 10%. Making reactors, heat exchangers, and the like yields slightly higher profits. The production of other containers is driven by volume, with price being the deciding factor.
Processing fee: For ordinary carbon steel, it is 1200–1500 yuan per ton. The labor cost is not that high either; each worker costs around 300 yuan. So 1500 yuan corresponds to 5 workers’ wages. And this does not include auxiliary materials, electricity costs, or invoicing expenses. How is that enough?
