It’s hard to imagine the specific situation, and no relevant information can be found online. There are a few things I don’t understand, and I hope someone can help explain them. First, the frame of the filter is protruding on all four sides with a depression in the middle (there might be protrusions as well). In the case of feed at the corners, wouldn’t the liquid feed flow in through those protruding parts? Wouldn’t there be no space for the liquid to enter between the filter membranes? Second, if the protruding parts of the filter plate with angular feed have flow channels leading toward the center, then isn’t the filter sludge located between the filter plate and the filter cloth? Third, for some filter cloths with angular feed openings, a hole is directly punched in them – won’t this cause filter sludge to leak onto the filtrate side? I haven’t actually seen the operation of the angular feed plate and frame in action; thanks to everyone for their answers!

Strictly speaking, that is called a filter bag; the substance to be filtered enters each filter bag separately through distribution pipes!
