A pressure vessel manufacturing plant holds both a certification for manufacturing pressure vessels and a certification for designing them. In accordance with the requirements of the new TSG07-2019 standards, these certifications are to be combined. If the validity period of the original design certification was two years after that of the original manufacturing certification, and now a new manufacturing certification (including design capabilities) has been issued in line with the new rules, can this company still carry out pressure vessel design work?

To continue using such vessels, it is necessary to apply to the **Market Regulation Bureau for a new design certificate, so the original certificate can no longer be used.
The design of pressure vessel manufacturers is not classified, unless a separate design certificate is obtained.
The manufacturing license was renewed in accordance with the new rules, and the design capabilities were certainly assessed; the new manufacturing license includes design aspects, while the original design license becomes invalid and no further designs can be carried out under it.
A new manufacturing certificate (including the design details) has been obtained; the previous design certificate is thus invalid. You can now only design pressure vessels for your own company that meet the standards of your manufacturing capabilities. The old design certificate can only be used as one of the criteria for bidding
