For example, the thickener located above a centrifuge also counts as a high-level tank, even though its actual height is only 4 meters
This term of ‘high-level tank’ is merely a term used in process engineering; it is not mentioned in any relevant standards, whether they are petrochemical standards or construction codes. It just means that the material is stored in an upper-level buffer; it can be under pressure or not.
