Seeking help regarding a single-plunger vacuum drip-type oil injector

I’ve read the instructions many times yet still don’t understand: when the plunger pump moves upward, check valve 4 closes and check valve 3 opens, thereby forcing the oil in the pressure chamber to be discharged. The question I have is: the oil inlet channel and the oil outlet channel are the same channel, and this channel is also connected to the sight glass. When the plunger pump moves upward to inject oil, the oil will also flow into the sight glass. Please ask the teachers to explain it, thank you!
