Have any of you marine engineers designed flanged connections to be installed on cylinders? How is the strength calculation of flanged flanges performed?

Has anyone done calculations in this area? It would be great if they could provide the calculation details
It is sufficient to check the stress in the axial section of the cylinder. In other words, the angle α is set to 0.
The SW6 design software includes calculations for flanges.
The SW6 flange calculation is only applicable to convex heads
The stress on two of these cross-sections can be calculated.
