Therefore, when transporting stainless steel materials, specialized transport brackets or platforms should be used, and the materials must not be dragged or bumped to prevent damage or scratches. Protection during cutting: Generally, stainless steel is cut either by direct shearing or plasma cutting. Before this process begins, it is necessary to carry out the basic marking with paint; when doing this, the use of a marking needle should be avoided. During the shearing process, the stainless steel parts should be isolated to prevent unnecessary scratches or damage; for example, a layer of rubber pad or thin sheet can be placed underneath them. Protection during machining: The machining process is also one that is influenced by numerous factors; therefore, it is essential to prevent corrosion from occurring. When beveling stainless steel plates, rubber or soft cloth padding must be placed on the feed support and clamping jaws of the planer.
