To the special equipment safety supervision agencies of the market regulation bureaus in various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as those in cities with separate planning status: In order to further implement the relevant requirements set forth by the State Council’s Safety Committee and the Special Equipment Bureau of the Market Regulation Administration regarding the establishment and strengthening of a dual-prevention system for managing special equipment safety risks and addressing potential hazards, the China Special Equipment Safety and Energy Conservation Promotion Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) has been entrusted by the Special Equipment Bureau of the Market Regulation Administration to draft two industry standards: “Classification and Grading of Potential Hazards in Special Equipment Accidents” and “Guidelines for Risk Management of Special Equipment”. A promotional event for these standards is scheduled to be held in Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province, in late April 2021. The relevant details are as follows: I. Time and Location: Registration will take place throughout the day on April 26, 2021, with training sessions held throughout the day on April 27, 2021. Location: Suzhou Hualong Hotel (No. 156, Dongwu North Road, Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province; see Attachment 1 for directions). II. Target participants: Personnel from various special equipment safety supervision agencies who intend to engage in the dual-prevention work of safety risk classification and control as well as hazard identification and rectification are invited to attend. III. Content of the presentation: The two industry standards, namely \"Classification and Grading of Hidden Dangers in Special Equipment Accidents\" and \"Guidelines for Risk Control of Special Equipment\", as well as the \"Opinions of the State Administration for Market Regulation on Further Strengthening the Dual Prevention Mechanisms for Safety Risk Grading Control and Hidden Danger Investigation and Rectification in Special Equipment\" (Guo Shi Jian Te She [2020] No. 198). Drafters of these standards and documents will be invited to give presentations and provide explanations. IV. Registration Method: The special equipment safety supervision agencies under the provincial market regulation bureaus (departments) will be responsible for organizing the registration process (see Attachment 2 for quota allocation). Individual registrations are not accepted, and the number of participants is limited to 80. The application form (see Attachment 3) must be stamped with the official seal of the organizing unit, and scanned before April 16, 2021, to be sent to the contact person’s email at the China Special Economy Promotion Association. V. Training Costs (1) No training fees or accommodation and meal costs will be charged for this event. (II) The organizer will arrange accommodation and meals uniformly; transportation costs shall be borne by the participants themselves. VI.
