Dear experts on this forum: I have been learning how to use *PVElite for calculations, and I noticed that at the end of the process an alert appears: \"Warning: There are nozzles in this model, but no flange MAWPs were de-rated. Be sure this is what you intended.\" There is a checkbox in the nozzle settings that tells PV Elite to perform the de-rating for each nozzle flange. For more information, please refer to ASME VIII-1, UG-44(b). I have tried to adjust the settings related to flange usage, but this warning still persists. I would appreciate any guidance from the experts here. Thank you!

I need the download link for the attachment; please give me some guidance!
I really can’t understand the meaning of this sentence. Guessing roughly, it might mean that the MAWP of the flange has not been adjusted for pressure-temperature limits. There is a checkbox in the software; if you want to calculate the correction, select the checkbox.
See the attachment; just check it. Operation steps: For the load cases option, under ANSI FLANGE PRESSURE REDUCTION OPTIONS, select ASME UG-44; there is no pressure reduction for ANSI flanges when using UG-44. Check the relevant options or perform the calculations as required. Also, in the takeover tab, check: Derate Flange MAWP if externally loaded.
Master, following your method, the Warning still cannot be eliminated.
Upload the model file and I’ll fix it for you
Great master, the model file can be found at the link on the third-floor cloud storage; uploading attachments also costs points. Thank you!
