HG21516 is a rotary cover-type butt-weld flange manhole, with two types of hinges: A and B. From the drawings, it seems that type A allows for a greater opening angle, while the hinge in type B can be opened up to 120 degrees. Personally, I think type B was designed this way so that it’s easier to fix the cover when the manhole is installed at the top of the container. When the manhole is installed on the side, isn’t there any difference between choosing type A or type B? Please share your opinions
They all feel the same; their purpose is the same: to facilitate disassembly and installation.
The function is the same, but as for which specific type to use, it is reasonable to determine the type based on the installation environment during the detailed design on site and considering the installation location
Type A is used more frequently; Type B is generally used when there are limitations in terms of available space.
