Is the weld metal thickness for GTAW-FeIV-2FG-3/18-Fefs-02/10/12 6 mm?
When the plate thickness is 12 or more, there is no limit on the thickness of the weld metal
This welder qualification applies to φ18×3 and plate corner joints; it depends on the thickness of the plate you use. In Figure A-1 (continued), Figure (b) of page 18 in TSG Z6002-2010, when S0 < 12, the maximum thickness of the welded part is 2 times the thickness of the weld metal; when S0 ≥ 12, there is no limit on the maximum thickness of the welded part.
