For stainless steel pressure vessels or those lined with stainless steel, where pre-weldments and similar items are welded on the stainless steel side, is heat treatment required after welding is completed?

Stainless steel equipment generally does not require heat treatment
I’m not sure whether the heat treatment you’re referring to is solution treatment or stress relief treatment; it depends on the type of stainless steel material and the corrosivity of the environment. Normal solution treatment should be taken into consideration in the design process
Stainless steel linings inside carbon steel shells cannot undergo conventional heat treatment or solution treatment, and all-stainless steel components likewise cannot be subjected to heat treatments such as solution treatment.
