Hello everyone, I have been working on pressure vessel design for over two years now and would like to start my own small business. Where can I find companies that have a need for pressure vessels? The experienced workers in the factory were unwilling to teach me, so I had to find my own way. Do any of you have any good sources?
For new chemical plants, there are quite a few of them. But an individual can only take on some minor tasks; one also needs to rely on connections. In the future, there will only be one or two such projects, as others are worried that you might not be able to deliver on time. Also, most factories have gas stations that require gas storage tanks, so these can be used. Finally, there’s the replacement of old equipment; basically, there are certain circles in these fields, and if you can’t get into those circles, you won’t be able to access anything. And it requires the manufacturer to provide a guarantee for you.
Shell companies are easy to make money in, but currently there is an overcapacity in manufacturing across various industries; experienced salespeople have extensive networks, and the incentive programs offered by different companies are not very substantial. However, some peers do not have the same situation. :lol

The easiest way is to build good relationships with the users at your current organization and start with them. The risk is leaving at any time. Coming up with the idea of asking a teacher to pay for this… You really have some wild ideas. This is essentially stealing someone’s livelihood; who on earth can help you with this?
Hire several high-paid salespeople with extensive connections in these industries, secure the support of influential people, and have sufficient funds to back things up – spend whatever is necessary. :lol
If it’s just about design, it’s not easy to handle. Those companies and design firms that operate outside the industry standard and under normal pressure also offer reasonable quotes, and their reputation for reliability is better than that of individuals ； It is difficult for such individuals to handle things through legal means. After searching around, I found that the only way to earn some extra money is by learning finite element analysis and helping others with stress analysis for specific situations
Right now, I’m working in the design department at a equipment manufacturing plant, drawing up blueprints. Basically, I’ve had no exposure to finite element analysis here
Even this is starting to become competitive now
Basically, manufacturers can handle it on their own; those who go out to get it analyzed need a stamp, but how can an individual get a stamp?
