The interior of carbon steel manholes should be cladded using submerged arc welding. I know absolutely nothing about this; could someone with expertise please explain what kind of welding wire and flux should be used?

Stellite21 meets the requirements of AWS A5.13 ECoCr—E as well as GB984 EDCoCr—E-03 standards. It belongs to the category of cobalt-based alloy electrodes with a low carbon content and good plasticity. It features a titanium-calcium flux coating, is suitable for both AC and DC power supplies, offers good arc stability, excellent slag coverage, easy slag removal, and produces welds with good appearance. The deposited metal possesses superior resistance to abrasion and cavitation, as well as good mechanical toughness. The standard for selecting such electrodes is GBT 984-2001 for surfacing welding electrodes. By the way, does the poster’s company have large-scale positioners? If not, special tooling must be used. For wear-resistant surfacing, refer to the second floor; for surfacing with a stainless steel corrosion-resistant layer, refer to Table 11 of NB/T47015 ; The interior of manholes should generally be lined with a corrosion-resistant layer obtained through surfacing welding; when using electrode-based surfacing welding, care should be taken to maintain a current density of 35–50 A per square millimeter for the power supply.
Stainless steel is resistant to corrosion when used for surfacing; however, for manual welding of surfacing layers, A302+A102 is used. What kind of wire and flux should be employed for submerged arc welding?

Which part of the manhole is to be surfaced by welding? Strip electrode welding is used for surfacing large areas; but with a manhole of such small size, the welding device using strip electrodes can’t fit in, right?
