No. According to the 713 material standard, an impact test is mandatory. In most cases, the impact requirements of 713 can meet those of 150.2. In this case, the steel plate can meet material standard 713. But sometimes, the requirements for 150 are stricter than those for 713. At this point, the test temperature and the value of the impact energy must be agreed upon through negotiation.
The design temperature is 40°C, so the impact test still needs to be conducted; it is sufficient to carry out the impact test at 0°C in accordance with standard 713. When the impact requirements in Table 150.2 are stricter than those of standard 713, you need to submit a separate request.
