Do gaskets in pressure pipelines and pressure vessels count as pressure-bearing components?
The TSG D2001-2006 Rules for Licensing the Manufacture of Pressure Pipeline Components define what constitutes pressure components. But it’s outdated, and I don’t know what standard has replaced it.
Yes, gaskets are compressive components. .
It has been replaced by TSG 07-2019, but I couldn’t find in which section of these two regulations the provision you mentioned exists
