Carbon fiber-wound gas cylinders purchased by enterprises are considered pressure vessels; what are the regulations regarding their inspection intervals? Could any teacher provide some guidance?
I. The periodic inspection cycle is determined in accordance with standards such as the \"Regulations on Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders\" of the People’s Republic of China, ISO 11623-2002 \"Periodic Inspection and Testing of Composite Gas Cylinders\", and GB 24161-2009 \"Periodic Inspection and Evaluation of Composite Gas Cylinders for Respirators\"; generally, the inspection cycle for carbon fiber-wound gas cylinders is once every three years. This cycle applies to cylinders that meet the relevant design and manufacturing requirements, under normal operating conditions. II. Inspections under special circumstances Cylinders may need to be inspected in advance under the following special circumstances: Abnormalities detected during use: If severe corrosion, damage to the cylinder is detected during use, or if there are doubts regarding its safety, use should be stopped immediately and an inspection conducted ahead of time. Excessive storage or inactivity period: For cylinders that have been stored or left unused for a period longer than one inspection cycle, an inspection must be conducted prior to their reuse to ensure their safety and reliability. III. Inspection Agencies and Requirements: Inspection agencies: The inspection of gas cylinders should be carried out by agencies that hold the \"Approval Certificate for Special Equipment Inspection and Testing Agencies in the People’s Republic of China\", issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine. Inspection requirements: Inspection items typically include visual inspection, internal inspection, inspection of the bottle mouth threads, hydrostatic testing, inspection and assembly of the bottle valve, as well as airtightness testing, in order to comprehensively assess the structural integrity and airtightness of the gas cylinder, as well as its compliance with design requirements and standard specifications.
For carbon fiber-wound cylinders used as pressure vessels, their inspection cycle is usually specified by relevant **standards or industry standards. In China, in accordance with the requirements of the \"Regulations on Safety Inspection of Pressure Vessels,\" such gas cylinders must undergo regular inspections every 5 years, and regular visual and safety checks must also be carried out during their daily use. The specific inspection intervals and regulations may vary depending on the actual conditions of use and local laws; please consult the relevant authorities or professional institutions before use to obtain accurate information. .
In accordance with Article 69 of the \"Regulations on the Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders\" (No. 250 [2000] issued by the Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau): Gas cylinders containing general gases shall be inspected every three years; If it contains inert gases, it needs to be inspected every five years; therefore, it depends on what medium is actually contained within it
Okay, thank you very much. Are there any specific requirements regarding the attachment? Pressure relief valves, alarm whistles, etc
