Where are check valves installed? According to Article 7.2.11 of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises (2018 Edition)“ (GB 50160-2008), check valves shall be installed on the outlet pipelines of centrifugal combustible gas compressors and combustible liquid pumps. Article 7.2.7 of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" (GB 50160-2008) (2018 edition) stipulates that when utility pipelines are connected to pipelines or equipment carrying flammable gases, liquefied hydrocarbons, and flammable liquids, the following requirements must be met: 1. Check valves shall be installed on utility pipelines that are in continuous use, with isolation valves placed at their bases ; 2. Check valves and one isolation valve, or two isolation valves, shall be installed on utility pipes that are used intermittently, with a service valve installed between the two isolation valves. According to Article 7.3.8 of the \"Design Code for Pumping Areas in Petrochemical Storage and Transportation Systems\" SH/T 3014-2012, a check valve should be installed on the pump outlet pipeline, with the check valve placed upstream, near the isolation valve. According to Article 6.4.2 of the \"Code for Design of Layout of Metal Piping in Petrochemical Industries\" SH/T 3012-2011, the check valve of the vacuum pump should be located upstream of the cut-off valve at the pump inlet. When there is a backup pump, a single check valve can be shared on the main pipe.
