In China, the manufacturing requirements for pressure vessels are quite strict. However, if the design, materials, and manufacturing processes of the end cap meet the requirements for special equipment, it is still recommended to have the relevant permits in place to ensure quality and safety. Head manufacturers do not require a manufacturing license, but supervised inspection is needed for heads manufactured by such manufacturers through welding or heat treatment.
The manufacturing of end caps was long ago removed from the List of Permitted Entities for the Production of Special Equipment, so no manufacturing qualifications are required anymore. Head covers that meet the requirements of the Solid Content Regulations must undergo supervision inspection, and an inspection certificate shall be issued.
