Tianeng Chemical saved millions in costs through the renovation of its washing tower. Recently, Tianeng Chemical Co., Ltd. made innovative improvements to the cleaning device for the packing in the washing tower of its dry-acetylene generators, thereby enhancing the stability and production efficiency of these devices. ““The washed tower operates more smoothly after the renovation; there is less scale buildup and less dust, and the labor intensity has also been significantly reduced!” said Niu Dong, an on-site operator in the acetylene workshop. To date, the company has completed the renovation of 7 scrubbers, and their performance has far exceeded expectations. The upgraded scrubber not only sees a significant improvement in dust removal efficiency, but also experiences a continuous reduction in equipment failure rates; this results in annual cost savings of nearly one million yuan due to reduced downtime for maintenance.
