Generally, it is hot-rolled plate; the price per ton of normalized plate of the same specification is 700 to 800 yuan higher than that of hot-rolled plate. The use of normalized plate is mainly related to the plate thickness and the medium involved, as specified in GB150 and HG20581.
What are the effects of normalizing and hot rolling on the material itself? Remove the part about annealing in hot rolling, and focus solely on the \"heat\" used during hot rolling – what kind of heating method is it, and what is the cooling method? What is the difference from the thermal properties of normalizing? Normalizing is something that most people are already familiar with, so there’s no need to go into detail. I hope someone experienced from an steel plant can give some guidance.
Hot rolling mainly refers to normalizing using the residual heat after rolling. For materials with low performance requirements, this approach can be used.
Look at the standards more often – the more you do it, the more familiar you’ll become with them! If you think hot-rolled sheets may have issues such as delamination or coarse grains, then you should opt for normalized sheets
