Hello everyone, our company has purchased Lansen’s computing software. It is very different from SW6 in terms of usage. Since we have just started using it, we are not yet very familiar with it. In heat exchanger calculations, a parameter ω is introduced for gaskets. How is this parameter calculated?
What does \"a big difference\" mean?
If it weren’t for many clients insisting on having SW6 calculation reports, SW6 would likely have been forgotten by now
It seems that for the heat exchangers in LanSEN, the thickness of the tube sheets needs to be much greater; there’s a huge difference compared to SW6, which results in increased costs and expenses
Take a screenshot and take a look. Generally, for standard gaskets, one can directly select them from the database; the various parameters will be available automatically. If it is a non-standard gasket, it needs to be entered. But the value you mentioned should be the gasket coefficient within 150, which is related to the gasket material.
