Dear experts: There are through-cracks in the refractory layer (0.2 meters thick) of the acidic gas combustion furnace, and the width of these cracks meets the requirements specified in the standards. What should be done in this situation?
If it only passes through the fire-resistant layer, it can be filled with ceramic fiber. The operating temperature of acid gas burners is relatively high; if the cracks are not too wide, they should be able to close up under normal operation. Given that the fire resistance temperature of the insulation layer may not be very high, it is advisable to fill the cracks with ceramic fiber to prevent high-temperature smoke from coming into direct contact with the insulation layer.
