Questions regarding the design of plate heat exchangers: 1. How are the holes in the fixing clamping plates of a plate heat exchanger connected to the holes in the plates themselves? 2. Are the holes in the pressing plate the same size as those in the plate sheet? Does anyone know?
Plate heat exchangers are now widely used in process systems; do you mean you want to know more about them? The holes in the compression plate and the heat exchange fins? This hole serves only for fixing and pressing; a bolt connection is sufficient
The pressing plate is flanged using rubber sleeves or stainless steel material to prevent the material from coming into direct contact with the carbon steel pressing plate. The plates are in direct contact with the pressing plate but are not connected to it; after pressing, there is no gap between the holes in the plates and the holes in the pressing plate. The size of the corner holes in the standard plates is the same as that of the openings in the pressing plate. The holes in the pressing plate can also be made smaller, but not larger
