Are there any materials related to evaporator design? Also, is it normal for the average velocity of the vapor-liquid mixture inside the pipes to reach 15 m/s?

Film condensation or forced circulation? That’s way too high!
For falling-film forced circulation, should the flow rate be around 2 m/s? Generally, does evaporation take place inside the heat exchanger tubes, or in the separator?
Heating takes place inside the heat exchange tube, while evaporation occurs inside the evaporator!
Is it possible to have evaporation within the tube? I’ve read a lot of foreign-language materials on this topic. In some cases, the substance evaporates inside a heater; in other cases, it enters an evaporator for evaporation (which is actually a separator, as it’s just a vertical container where the pressure is lower than that in the heater, allowing for spontaneous evaporation. Perhaps a demister would be needed afterward). As for the feed temperature, does it usually reach the boiling point? The materials I’ve read mention both feed at the boiling point and feed at temperatures below the boiling point; it seems that feeding at the boiling point is somewhat idealized
Evaporation inside the tube is also an option; you just need a thermosiphonic reboiler. When the vaporization amount is high, I still find it better outside the tube.
It’s not thermal siphon; it’s forced circulation. So should evaporation still occur outside the tubes? So how do we control whether evaporation occurs inside or outside the tube? Through pressure?
