Issues with low-temperature impact specimens for heat exchange tubes

The owner requires retesting for low-temperature impact on the heat exchange tubes, and the test samples must be prepared in accordance with relevant standards. I have consulted standards such as GB/T9948 and GB229, and in my opinion impact test samples should be provided on a batch basis. However, the supplier stated that for the φ19×2 and φ25×2.5 heat exchanger tube blanks, samples can only be provided on a furnace basis. I would like to ask everyone whether it is indeed necessary to provide samples on a batch basis in practice

Pipe manufacturers usually supply pipes in batches, as there are often many buyers for each batch; after all, it’s rare to purchase pipes in just one batch. If your organization has no difficulty in obtaining samples, you can buy one additional pipe when placing an order, to use for retesting. This problem can then be solved. For guidance on preparing tube samples, please consult the physical and chemical specialists at your company :)
