What is the height of the welding leg for groove welding?

Fillet welds generally do not have a groove. The height of the weld leg is the length of the right side of the largest isosceles right triangle drawn in the cross section of the fillet weld. So how is the weld with a groove determined?

K and K1 in the figure are called welding leg heights
It doesn’t count the depth of the groove (this is what the boiler strength standard GB/T16508.3-2013 stipulates). I don’t know much else.
In other words, it doesn’t matter whether you open a breach or not.
The height of the welding leg is the height of the welding leg itself and has nothing to do with whether or not the groove can be opened. In order to ensure penetration, the groove depth and groove angle will increase accordingly. The welding leg is still a welding leg.
