To manufacture a new carbon steel fixed-plate heat exchanger of type 1, what is the purchase price, in terms of multiples of the material cost? It’s just a rough estimate of the price; thanks to the brothers in this forum for their advice!
The cost of the heat exchanger should be calculated separately: the cost of the shell is material cost x 2, the cost of the tube sheet is material cost x 2.5, and the cost of the heat exchange tubes is material cost x 2.2
