Since heat transfer oil is immiscible with water, at high temperatures water exists in the heat transfer oil in gaseous form, leading to unstable system pressure as well as cavitation or water hammer in the circulation pump, which severely affects the safe operation of the heat transfer oil heating system. Therefore, once moisture gets mixed into the heat transfer oil, strict dehydration treatment must be carried out during operation to remove the moisture from the system.
