Basic question: Must fixed-tube-sheet heat exchangers be selected according to standard specifications?

According to national standards, for fixed-tube plate heat exchangers with a tube length of 1500 mm, the heat transfer area can be 2.8 m2 or 1.3 m2, with the nominal diameter of the shell being 159 mm and 519 mm, etc. So if my calculation shows that the heat transfer area is 1.5 m2, do I have to round it up to 2.8 m2? Or should I design the number of tubes and the inner diameter of the cylinder?
It should be done according to fixed specifications, in round numbers
The heat exchange area is based on the calculation results, while the cylinder diameter follows conventional values. Otherwise, it’s very difficult to get the gasket there.
