It’s definitely different. For the same tonnage, the medium parameters of hot water boilers and steam boilers differ, which results in different amounts of heat that need to be released by the fuel. Typically, steam boilers have a larger flue gas volume. Because steam undergoes phase change, the higher the parameters, the more heat is required, which leads to greater fuel consumption and an increased amount of flue gas.
Check whether the output power is the same; if the power is the same, then the coal consumption will be the same as well. Ignore the tonnage
