Heat exchanger spring bracket

Have you used any spring supports for this type of heat exchanger? How are they?
I’ve never seen one; the heat exchangers I’ve encountered are all mounted on fixed brackets
I remember using it once years ago at the customer’s request; I haven’t received any feedback regarding its actual performance.
Spring Support is commonly used in compressor inter-stage coolers (intercoolers) for foreign brands such as Siemens or Mannesmann compressors.
I’ve never seen it; it’s usually fixed to a base, with the piping connections being made using flexible connectors
All the heat exchangers I’ve seen are fixed; I’ve really never encountered springs like this before – it’s been an eye-opener
I have designed around 10 reaction vessels weighing 20 tons each, with 4 footings mounted on spring bases; the requirements for agitators and mechanical seals are quite high, and these are also glass-lined equipment
What type of work section or equipment is this used on, according to the poster? Generally, this is only used when there is no other choice.
Spring supports are generally used for moving equipment; what the poster has shown is somewhat similar to vibration isolation devices, namely spring isolators. Heat exchangers are generally static equipment; does the medium in such heat exchangers undergo phase changes, which can cause vibrations?
