This software is a true design tool for spiral plate heat exchangers, with heat transfer and fluid dynamics calculations all based on rigorous equation-set methods. The heat transfer coefficient and resistance calculations are both integral values along the spirally curved channel. The preview is as follows; the final released version may differ (the data in the image is entered arbitrarily and may not be accurate):
