Lecture content: 1) Brief introduction to the upgraded version of HTRI XchangerSuite® 9.0. 2) Online performance demonstration of the latest version of HTRI Xchanger Suite® 9.0: a) Demonstration of the Xist module (shell-and-tube type) using actual cases. i. Basic input methods and techniques for Xist. ii. Detailed explanation of important input parameters for Xist (such as ServiceType, characteristics and applicable conditions of various TEMA structure types, performance features of different types of baffles, etc.). iii. Interpretation of output results: reports, charts, and graphs. b) Vibration analysis. In response to the warning marked with * in the Xist vibration analysis report/Vibration, this explains Xist’s logic and criteria for assessing vibration risks. The Xvib vibration analysis module is also used to conduct a precise assessment of vibration risks. c) Cost analysis: Using real-world examples, the Exchanger Optimizer™ heat exchanger cost optimization software is demonstrated to analyze the detailed components of manufacturing and installation costs for specific design options, including material and labor costs; furthermore, cost optimization strategies and methods are explored based on these examples.
