Is it necessary to use separate cylinders for steam?

Steam enters the steam distribution cylinder through one main pipe, from which three branches emerge. These three branches supply steam directly to 9 devices; one pipe serves three devices. When two devices connected by the same pipe use steam together, the heating efficiency is low. By adding two more steam distribution cylinders, with one main pipe connecting to these three cylinders, and then 9 branches emerging from those cylinders, how much can the heating efficiency be improved?

The heating efficiency cannot change in any way.
Why not use one cylinder with 1 inlet and 9 outlets to connect 9 devices?
Perhaps it is a set of devices using three tubes, with these three sets being quite far apart from each other
