Are there any companies that can perform dry cleaning inside heat exchanger tube bundles? Feel free to share your experiences.
I’ve never seen dry cleaning used for this purpose. The cleaning of shell and tube heat exchangers generally involves high-pressure jet cleaning and chemical cleaning, or a combination of both. For cases where there is no scale buildup, chemical cleaning can be considered first, followed by high-pressure jet cleaning. If the material does not tolerate water, it may be possible to clean it first and then blow it out using nitrogen or air.
