For fixed-tube-sheet heat exchangers with expansion joints equipped with linings, what should be the diameter of the baffle plates? Do all baffle plates need to have a diameter smaller than that of the inner sleeve? How should it be taken then? Thank you!
Structurally, the number of baffles passing through the expansion joint should be kept as low as possible. The baffle passing through the expansion joint is smaller in diameter than the inner sleeve, while the rest is designed according to the inner diameter of the cylinder.
