Could some expert please advise me on how to remove and install the bolt of this type of nut?
Do you see the square shape under the large cover inside the bolt? It’s likely that the large cover needs to be struck first in order to push the square shape into the workpiece (of course, it’s also possible that the workpiece already has such a square-shaped hole). Then the nut is installed. Are you using this on a soft material workpiece?
The workpiece should have a square hole, right?
This should be the simplest threaded fastening. Because fastening components of this size don’t require much force to secure; just like thumbtacks, we only need to hold the larger end with our hand and tighten the nut by rotating it – the tighter it gets as we go further, and a small wrench is sufficient for this task.
