On November 26, the first half of the No. 2 propylene tower of the 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit of Jilin Petrochemical's refining and chemical transformation and upgrading successfully entered the East District project construction site, marking that all five key over-limit towers of the company's refining and chemical transformation and upgrading of the 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit were safely transported to the designated location at the project construction site. It is reported that the No. 2 propylene tower has a diameter of 8.6 meters, a length of 111.25 meters, and a weight of 1,774.85 tons. It is the longest and heaviest tower among the five over-limit towers. It is expected that in mid-December, it will serve as a landmark building for the transformation and upgrading of the 1.2 million tons/year ethylene plant and will stand tall at the East District project construction site. At 15:10 on November 26, the first half of the No. 2 propylene tower began to be shipped. With the joint efforts of the Eastern District Project Management Department, the supervision and general contracting units, and the shipping company for the transformation and upgrading of the project, the first half of the No. 2 propylene tower arrived at the designated location on site at 16:40 that day. At this point, the No. 2 propylene tower of Jilin Petrochemical's refining and chemical transformation and upgrading 1.2 million tons/year ethylene unit has arrived at the designated location.
