Dear masters, is 316Ti a titanium alloy? Searching for titanium alloys online did not show up 316Ti, but intuitively it seems that 316Ti should be a titanium alloy because there is still titanium in it. Please give me some advice and issue standards or specifications. Thanks
The amount of titanium content is called a titanium alloy.
The principle of Chinese brands is that the number after the ingredient represents the content. If there is no number, it means 1%. For example, the old brand 1Cr18Ni9 is 18% Cr and 9% Ni.
Please look at my screenshot. It is an austenitic alloy. The Ti mass fraction is between 0.4-0.7. The content is very small and cannot be called titanium alloy. There is no problem in calling it chromium, nickel or molybdenum alloy.
