The five machinery factories of the former Ministry of Petroleum； Plant No. 1 is in Baoji; Plant No. 2 is in Zhenping, Nanyang; Plant No. 3 is at Longweishan, Tianmen, Hubei; Plant No. 4 is in Jingzhou, Hubei; Plant No. 5 is in Chengde. The Machine Factory is now CNPC Gem Machinery Company. The Second Machinery Factory has been restructured and is now known as Nanyang Second Machinery Petroleum Machinery Company, a private enterprise. The Three-Machine Factory is now known in Wuhan as the Three-Machine Branch of Sinopec Machinery Co., Ltd. The Fourth Machinery Factory was located in Jingzhou; it is now known as Sinopec Fourth Machinery Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd. The Fifth Machinery Factory was located in Chengde; it is now known as the Chengde Branch of Sinopec Jiangzhuan Petroleum Machinery Co., Ltd., and it has been acquired by Jiangzhuan Company – it is a department-level unit
